Your relevant experience must include substantial involvement in one or more types of risk management or financial experiences. These experiences include working experiences that relate to financial risk, internal control, internal audit and management tasks which involve setting up risk management systems and monitoring such systems.

It is unlikely that experience which only includes general accounting work will constitute relevant experience for the purposes of Practical Experience.

Demonstrating relevant experience

If you are making an application for CRA Program, you will need to complete and attach a Statement of relevant experience for CRA Program to your application.

The information contained in the Statement of relevant experience (SRE) should provide evidence of your substantial involvement in one or more types of risk management works. ‘Substantial involvement' means ample or considerable involvement.
